Note dancing panda looking a bit dusty. Most of the park looked that way. I guess there's not much else to do with an Olymic park after the event. Much like Seattle Center.
Learned they don't give out timing chips for half-marathon - only for full marathon. What a gip, especially since I paid expat registration fee (4x local rate). What a racket.

Hey, good luck in the half marathon!!!!!! We'll be thinking of you!
ReplyDelete(Cool panda)
No timing chip for a half marathon! That seems rather unusual. What's your goal time/pace on your run? When's your race, let us know how it goes. I hear that marathon running in China has become popular.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a marathon on Sunday, 8:00 AM, Oct 18th... hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon in 2010... need to do it in 3:45 (8:36 pace). The problem is, some really really cold weather has settled in, it snowed this morning... supposed to be low 30s, rainy and windy (aka.. snow and windy) in Lowell MA on Sunday.
